Penis Envy is one of the most famous magic mushrooms strains. Maybe you are thinking that this is just because the name is so remarkable and because the phallus form, but these are not the main reasons. The Penis Envy is a powerful variety very appreciated by experienced psychonauts.

“Penis Envy” is one of the most popular strains of mushrooms that are grown, to date. PE is characterized by its strange appearance, with a dense, bulbous, and wrinkly stipe, and a cap that doesn’t open very much. It tends to look like a mushroom penis. However, it is an aggressive fruiter, producing some monsters in later flushes. PE is certainly no slouch.

The only downside to PE is, with some sub strains, it is hard to collect spores, as this mushroom does not release spores in a normal way. You have to use an alternate method, to collect the spores, in which one must swab the gills with a sterile q-tip. This strain’s history is shrouded in mystery, and rumors of betrayal and murder. No one really knows where, or how PE came about, but everyone knows, PE is a must have for anyone who loves Psilocybe Cubensis. Growth Parameters are the same as any Psilocybe Cubensis, but harvesting is bit different. Once the caps break their veil, they are not ready to be harvest, like other strains of Psilocybe Cubensis. You will need to wait about 3-5 days, after the veil is torn for mature mushrooms. Also, these mushrooms do not do well on cakes.
